iso.10 - The Sea Finally Surfaces available June 2006 Based in Oakland, California, Nommo Ogo are an electronic sound conspiracy, invoking a seething vortex through various intertwined electronic devices and misused circuitry, fused with processed acoustic instrumentation. The Sea Finally Surfaces, their second CD release on Isolate, expands upon forgotten pathways in electronic and space music, transporting the listener to unexpected regions of the subconscious. It is an exploration into strange atmospheres, structures, and non-euclidean perspectives. A dynamic journey where subtle harmonics and hypnotic pulsations give way to sheets of throbbing waveforms and intense rhythms. Along the way are pieces with delicately melded vocals and poetry. The band draws inspiration from the depths of the unknown; the ocean floor, outward to the stars and beyond. This is a deep album which will be increasingly treasured by listeners over time and immersed listening. Emerging from the Anchorage, Alaska psychedelic/noise underground in 1996, Nommo Ogo has continued as a cult live act and recording collective in Oakland. Previous releases on Isolate Records include: H.A.A.R.P. Musick (iso.04 CD, 2001), and Meat and Red Triangles (iso.07 12", 2003). They have also released the "Live in Berlin 2004" CDR under the Katabatik imprint, which documents several sessions of mutant improvisation. releases on Isolate: ISO.10: Nommo Ogo. The Sea Finally
