Welcome to the sonic wilderness of Fluorescent Grey's debut full length ‘Lying on the floor mingling with god in a Tijuana motel room next door to a veterinary supply store’. Groove to break dancing beats derived from water, foliage, vocoded electricity, and other bizarre sources.  Blurring the line between sampling and live instrumentation,  re-appropriating Indian Classical, and showing the lost link between Kabuki theatre and electronic music; ‘Lying on the floor...’ is a world full of unchartered territories.  They are psychedelic and synaesthetic environments which encompass the listener.  From dark caves swarming with sounds to skies raining with brilliant lights, Fluorescent Grey leads us through a dense, mind-altering trip to another dimension in modern music!

iso.10 CD Nommo Ogo. The Sea Finally Surfaces. May, 2006.

This, their second CD release on Isolate, expands upon forgotten pathways in electronic and space music, transporting the listener to unexpected regions of the subconscious. It is an exploration into strange atmospheres, structures, and non-euclidean perspectives. A dynamic journey where subtle harmonics and hypnotic pulsations give way to sheets of throbbing waveforms and intense rhythms. The band draws inspiration from the depths of the unknown; the ocean floor, outward to the stars and beyond. This is a deep album which will be increasingly treasured by listeners over time and immersed listening. 13 tracks.

DR.14 CD Undacova. Intrusion. May, 2006.

Undacova is a project of Belgian producer Jan Robbe. The Intrusion, CD is an album which presents a dark, disturbing, and fragmentated world. Dismantling rhythms of driving extremes are layered with intense sounds, dreamy and drugged ambient textures and noise soundscapes seemingly dredged from the sewers of electronic hell. Jan pushes the extremes of modern electronic music with an unrelenting network of assaulting beats and textures. A furious onslaught of futuristic sounds! 13 tracks, including remixes by Imminant and Neurocore!

iso.13 CD. Tomoroh Hidari: The Necrophonicon. 

This is the debut CD release from Viennese decomposer Tomoroh Hidari. Exploring a range of demonic and psychologically disturbed worlds, The Necrophonicon will surely please audiences seeking to look beneath and beyond the many predictable and topical surfaces that plague electronic music today. Illuminating the dark paths below via his LCD screen, Hidari injects abstract rhythms that seem to transfuse the fast pace of modern producers like Venetian Snares into a Coil-esque realm of psychedelic and post-industrial atmospheres. Obscure sound textures and eerie cries are heard echoing throughout this exploration into the crypts of the The Necroophonicon. Hidari is sure to instill surrealist’s dreams upon headphone visitors to his subterrain! The disc is packaged in a C-shell case with a unique insert design. 

iso.09 12” Society Cleaners: Take me To Your Leader.

On his debut release, Brooklyn based malcontent Society Cleaners clearly shows his command of building music pieces like fluid, ever changing stories. Described by SC himself as "Squarepusher being beaten up by Einsturzende Neubauten," Take Me To Your Leader clearly asserts itself as one of the most texturally dynamic and compositionally progressive splatter-break-freak-down record releases this year! Society Cleaners, once a contributor of bass and vocal talents to various punk and ska bands during his high school years, grew up on a musical diet of Foetus, Front Line Assembly, Skinny Puppy and the like. He assembles all Society Cleaners recordings at home studio using original source materials. Society Cleaners has appeared live in Philadelphia, Milwaukee, and several New York City venues including Tonic, Halcyon and as a featured artist for the Share night at Openair Bar, performing alongside the likes of Doormouse and Timeblind. Honing his live talent, Society Cleaners now looks to take over your speakers!!

iso.08 12” Nommo Ogo: Meat and Red Triangles. 

The debut vinyl release from Oakland (and Alaska) based Nommo Ogo. Two tracks of intense, yet dynamically evolving electronic drums. Tribal and moody, this 12” is Nommo Ogo’s first vinyl release. These strange, yet intensely human, drum machine and synthesizer based tracks (with a touch dirt!) are framed at the beginning and end with several shorter ambient pieces. Pressed on red vinyl, this record also includes a full color sticker insert depicting an organic, yet alien, landscape (which deeply reflects the music) from Oakland based painter, Kelly Porter. 

iso.07 CD. O.S.T.: Fimt. 

This album is O.S.T.’s first CD project that was originally recorded in the early 90s and intended for release on Relfective Records in 1995, yet unfortunately was not manufactured. In 1998, it was released as a limited CD-R series by Pthalo Records as “Cunts Reflect”. The CD, though finished about a decade ago, still stands truly distinct, especially in today’s world of sterile, laptop electronics. These are dynamic and unusual beats that convey a sense of confusion and anguish in our modern electronic and computer driven world! Finally, this album was properly released on Isolate in the spring of 2003. O.S.T., has also opened for electronic luminaries Autechre on several occasions and at the AE curated All Tomorrow’s Parties, in 2003.

iso.04 CD. Nommo Ogo: H.A.A.R.P. Musick. 

Alaskan born collective, Nommo Ogo are uniquely creative musicians. Employing elements of experimental noise and intense yet abstract beats; Nommo Ogo creates a unique tribal sound for the internet age. Hard at times, weird at times, but unique rhythms and sounds all the time. Describing their sound isn't an easy task! Their equipment includes a motley assortment of older synths, samplers, toys, and other random instruments. We are very happy to be presenting their debut record release, we think it pushes electronic music styles into territories not often explored by today's producers. If you like creative electronics, you gotta hear it! The folks at Warp Record described this CD as "fuckin' wicked!" 

iso.03 CD. Venetian Snares: Printf("Shiver in Eternal Darkness/n"); 

What can we say about this record that hasn't been said before? Its simply amazing, a mind blowing album of complex and evil rhythms like you've never heard before. This is Venetian Snares’ 2nd release, his debut album. Arguably, this is one of the sickest records to be released during the last millennium. This record is fucked, sick, evil, precise, moving, and, again, AMAZING. Selections from this CD have appeared on BBC Radio One’s John Peel Show. There is a reason why Venetian Snares has been getting so much attention lately, this record explains it.

iso.01 CD. Optic: Isolation Zone. 

The beginnings of Isolate Records have finally been pressed onto a proper CD. Completed in 1996, this album displays Optic’s use of abstract beats and well manicured electronic tones. Though one might even describe this release as being “IDM”, we feel it is just good music. Experimental in form and sound, yet simultaneously moody and dark. This release is slower and more contemplative than those who have experienced Optic’s intense, rhythmic live sets might expect.

DR.12 12" Unducova: Induction

Undacova is the project of Belgian beat-noisician Jan Robbe. Dismantling what some might now term "Breakcore" and forcing its remnants to extremes and layering it with noises that seem to have been dredged from the sewers of hell!! Imagine if Venetian Snares’ beats were slammed into a sewage grate, and forced to mix with the flowing sludge beneath! 6 tracks of extreme beats and noise. Trust DySLExiC ResPOnSE, this release is not for happy or well mannered individuals!! Painfully assaulting rhythms and auditory cacophony for the disturbed, what more could you ask for?! 

DR.11 12” Noize Punishment: Decontrolled Computer Violence! 

Like a painful kick in the face, this 22 year old Czech punk delivers a frantic and assaulting mix of noise, punk riffs, and scattered, shattered n fukked drum breaks! With the urgency and intensity of the mid-eighties' UK grind, this release signifies a return to the chaos and intensity recently absent from that genre. If you want to hear 10 tracks of pissed-off nastiness to the core, this is it. This thick slab of pain is also perfect for pissing off neighbors, parents, and generic dance party/club DJ’s! This is true punk for our computer-addicted age!!

This Czech Republic malcontent collides breakcore with an unhealthy dose of PuNk! This thing severely fucks shit up! DR.06 12” Minion: Audible Defacatus! 

Hailing from Lancaster, California. This is Minion’s second vinyl release on Dyslexic Response. Minion creates a well thought out rhythmic atmosphere that is dark and angry. Heavy and industrial sounding beats, without the clichés associated with those terms! This record contains a controlled and sinister attack of drums. Pure sickness. This EP contains 7 tracks.

DR.05 7” Minion: The Sardonic EP.

Minion’s first Dyslexic release is a harsh and pounding 2-tracker. This Southern California native combines noisy and clangtangerous beats with moody synth lines and dark atmospheres. This marks Minion's debut vinyl release.

DR.03 12" Headcrash EP. (on red vinyl)

This is the work of Isolate/Dyslexic chief, Optic. Under his harsh-noise-beats alias HeaDcRasH, he once again dumps four tracks of pure emotion (dare we say angst?) onto today's bland world of generic electronics. It could be described as existing in the sonic realms between Masonna, DJ Scud, Neubaten, and Skinny Puppy …probably harsher. To put it mildly, this record is noisy, angry, harsh, and fukKed up!! Every track churns up emotions, you can feel the anguish in the beats as they build into pure nihilistic destruction! Don't buy this record if you want clean, mild mannered clique-y beats. Buy this record if you want some fukKed beatz, and vulgar noize!

DR.02 12" Bombardier/13th Hour: Possess EP.

The creation of Jason Snell, who currently resides in New York City. Possess is a noisy n dirty, yet fuckin' groovin' record. Electro gone breakcore, maybe? Shake that booty baby, even if yer pissed. Side A is composed of clangy, yet moody electro tunage. Side B contains a sick and corrosive broken attack and its atmospheric aftermath. A well orchestrated aural assault from the one and only Bombardier!
