NEW RELEASE - May 2006 Catalog number: DR.14 Undacova is a project of Belgian producer Jan Robbe. The Intrusion, CD is an album which presents a dark, disturbing, and fragmentated world. Dismantling rhythms of driving extremes are layered with intense sounds, dreamy and drugged ambient textures and noise soundscapes seemingly dredged from the sewers of electronic hell. Jan pushes the extremes of modern electronic music with an unrelenting network of assaulting beats and textures. A furious onslaught of futuristic sounds! The album’s title itself stems from Jan’s interest in the process of musical induction and how it affects and influences us. In a world where people often experience depression and are caught in spirals of negative emotions, there is often a need for a musical antidote. Despite its inherent harshness, the album is not meant to amplify negativity. Listeners who identify with the chaos it presents should be aware of the music’s effects and use them to release their own inner demons as it leads them towards positive resolution. The album also contains remixes from French producer, Neurocore, and fellow Belgian, Imminant; who should need no introduction for those familiar with the modern, electronic industrial and power noise sound on the Ant Zen/Hymen labels. The Intrusion album contains 13 tracks total. Jan Robbe has releases under the names Atomhead on Hangars’s Liquides and Erratic on Mystery Sea. Jan also runs the Entity net-based label.
